Job Description:
We are seeking 2 positions for Laboratory Technicians. 1 full time employee, and 1 seasonal employee.
Qualifications:
- Under/Recent/Graduate of Civil Engineering Technology program or related experience.
- Experience with construction materials, evaluation, inspection, and testing, is an asset.
- Knowledge in the areas of Soil, Hot Mix Asphalt, Concrete and aggregates testing and familiarity with ASTM and CSA code would be a bonus.
- Must be able to work and demonstrate effective organizational skills.
- Motivated, detail and quality oriented, team player essential.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and functions.
- Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplining team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to perform laboratory testing of soil, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt material in accordance to required specification.
