Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager/ Project Leader, a Process Engineer is required to provide process engineering technical support and consultancy primarily to the international oil and gas and LNG industries covering feasibility and front end design through to debottlenecking and troubleshooting of operational assets for multiphase pipelines, offshore infrastructures, gas terminals and LNG facilities.
You will be involved in the execution of project tasks to satisfaction of Manager/ Project Leader – including completion of project tasks to commercial deadlines; operating within formal QA standards and project procedures.
Requirements:
As Process Engineer you should be qualified to degree level in Chemical Engineering and ideally a Chartered Engineer or working towards member status.
You should have process engineering experience preferably in oil and gas or LNG and experience in a consultancy company or experience of conceptual/ FEED work would be highly beneficial.
Experience of using flow assurance (Olga) or process modelling (Hysys) software would also be desirable.
Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills and ability to work both as part of a team or individually is essential and you must be presentable to clients, customer focussed and have a track record of consistent excellent customer feedback.
Your analysis and assessment skills must be strong as you will be involved in technical problem solving using engineering judgement, and you must be computer literate with word processing and spreadsheet experience.
As Process Engineer you should be flexible, confident, self motivated and must hold a valid passport.
Additional Information:
You will be based in Loughborough or Aberdeen but there may be a requirement to work at other locations in the UK or overseas on an ad-hoc basis.
