Requirements:
Degree qualified Engineer (Honours or equivalent) in either civil, structural or offshore engineering
Chartered Engineer or equivalent
Previous experience in the structural design and analysis of fixed offshore platform attachment clamps
Previous experience in the analysis and design of existing jackets/substructures and required modifications
Suitable candidates will possess:
A sufficient and appropriate level of offshore structural design experience including the design of fabrication requirements
Strong structural analysis
Computer literacy with knowledge or experience with Microsoft office
Good command of the English language and the ability to prepare written reports
Good presentation skills and able to interface with clients.
Must be able to lead a team of engineers and draughts persons
Self motivated and ability to research and work on own initiative
Acceptance of responsibility for work carried out
Flexible working attitude and availability to work outside normal hours if required - occasional visits to client or other company offices in Europe may be required and some project work may entail visits to fabrication sites
