Job Description
The [Employer] Global Sourcing Quality Leader will work directly with the Sourcing Leadership team to develop and implement a sourcing quality strategy.
Goals will be to:
- Increase supplier reliability, particularly in critical special processes.
- Ensure 100% compliance to the Supplier Approval process.
- Perform LCC (Low Cost Country) supplier qualifications to support 120% increase in LCC volume.
- Implement metrics to track quality and delivery performance globally, by site, by supplier.
- Implement Lean 6 Sigma projects focused on internal process improvement,
- Implement a global sourcing quality team structure.
- Implement ISO 9000 Level 4 procedures globally.
Specific responsibilities will also include:
- Leading a global sourcing quality team of approximately 85.
- Ensuring CARs conducted on major supplier defects.
- Interfacing with Manufacturing seamlessly to improve quality across the supply chain.
- Interfacing with Engineering to develop improved supplier qualification processes.
- Developing supplier quality scorecards for feedback to the Commercial sourcing team.
Qualifications
- A Technical / Engineering Degree or 4+ years of experience.
- 8+ years of experience in quality in a manufacturing environment.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Commercial experience (3+ years).
