Overview
The position is responsible to advise management and employee’s on the application of the QHSSE system, initiate improvements in risk reduction,on the guidance on legislative, customer and company requirements, including solutions and methods to achieve those requirements. The function is also responsible to provide means to continuously monitor performance against predetermined standards and objectives, and report back to management with timely, accurate and relevant information, which leads to high quality, informed business decisions.
Job Description
Continuous reduction of loss frequency (personal injuries, motor vehicle collisions, equipment, property or environmental damages, service quality).
Satisfactory completion of audits or other evaluation processes that verify the existence and effectiveness of QHSSE management systems.
Auditing of Radiation program.
Participate in incident investigations with operational staff.
Development of action logs or other methods of tracking corrective / preventative actions to ensure satisfactory implementation and closure.
Perform duties according to the documented Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Place Instructions.
Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Qualifications
5+ years QHSSE experience in the Oil & Gas service sector.
Radiation Safety Officer experience: Knows how to obtain and maintain radiation operating licenses.
Willingness to travel internationally as requrired.
Must work well with limited supervision.
Preferred
Previous field experience handling well logging sources.
Experience implementing vehicle drive montiors.
