Responsibilities:
To comply with the Company and Customers, Health, Safety, Environmental, Operational and
Quality Assurance Procedures and Instructions
To ensure all hand tools, plant and machinery used offshore are well maintained and are in safe condition.
To conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery and plant to ensure all installation safety practices are adhered to. (offshore)
Ensure Trainee Engineers conduct their work in accordance with Company and Customer Approved Practices
To utilise work order/job card systems for post rental and post repair servicing and inspection in conjunction with work instructions and check lists.
To conduct receipt of equipment and complete necessary paperwork to ensure efficient data checking.
To be compliant with pre-rental preparation of equipment in conjunction with Customer Order Input Document or Material Request Form.
To conducts pressure testing in conjunction with Company written scheme of verification, provided you are deemed capable of conducting testing.
To ensure tests are conducted in a safe and efficient manner and all safety practices are adhered to.
To participate in toolbox safety, and risk assessment discussion groups.
To ensure Permit to work systems are diligently followed up and implemented. (offshore)
To attend any internal and external courses the company requites you to attend in conjunction with your duties that will increase competence and efficiency.
To prepare and install rental pressure control equipment at customers rig site offshore, land or overseas locations in a professional manner compliant with customers requirements to ensure quality service and repeat business.
To represent the company on locations and meet all company expectations relevant to the responsibilities undertaken at al times whilst on location.
To undertake all assignments deemed necessary to which you have been assessed as competent to conduct.
To ensure all service tickets are completed and signed by customer representative and to produce a service report on completion of job and participate in operational debriefing, to ensure all necessary charges are detailed. In addition any expenses incurred for offshore/overseas operation will be reimbursed through company expenses claim form.
Requirements:
Educated to Standard Grades Level
Educated to Higher Grade Level
Computer Literate
Mechanical Experience
Time Served Mechanical Engineer
Trained Wellhead Engineer
Able to work as part of a Team.
Able to work away from home and offshore for extended periods.
Flexibility.
Able to represent the Company in a professional manner, verbally and appearance wise.
