Responsibilities:
Train and operate both the weave and laser machines within the plant to comply with the safety procedures.
Train and be accountable for loading the correct programmes into the machines for the relevant operations.
Train and carry out machine changes to accommodate different spool sizes.
Check the correct weave rating size is being used on each order.
Check the correct Perf plate size and length is used on each order.
Follow the correct working procedures for the machine.
Working within the safety procedures of Weatherford.
Completing all relevant paperwork associated with the QA of the product.
Be responsible for the cleanliness around and within the machine areas.
Complete weekly maintenance sheets and hand them to our Maintenance Supervisor.
Carry out any other miscellaneous task that you are suitably trained for. (See training metrics for information).
Assist /carry out all spool movement within the work areas.
Requirements:
Must be educated to a secondary school level of education
Must have experience in workshop environment.
Ideally have experience working within an engineering environment.
Must have computer knowledge and keyboard skills.
Must have the ability to read engineering drawings.
Forklift Certificate.
Overhead Crane Certificate.
Ability to communicate with people both written and verbal.
Work on their own initiative with minimum supervision.
Must be flexible to the needs of the oil industry.
Must be a reliable and committed person.
