Responsibilities:
To provide system programming support to the Coabis group in Aberdeen.
To provide assistance to all departments to develop and run in-house systems.
Develop and integrate information systems where practicable.
Initially responsible for assisting the Coabis group to develop and maintain the AKOPL Coabis integrity management product – both Delphi-based GUI application and web-based applications.
Review and recommend new technologies, which support the Coabis group and their customers, and provide business benefit.
Requirements:
Computing related skills
Awareness of all relevant corporate and project procedures.
Visual Development Tools (Delphi, Visual Studio)
Structured Query Language (SQL, PL/SQL)
Database Development/Management (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
HTML/XHTML
Web based scripting languages (Javascript, VB Script)
Knowledge of OLE/COM technologies
Software installation
Experience of 1st/2nd line system support
ASP and ASP.NET
