Responsibilities:
Responsible for carrying out tasks as directed by the Workshop Supervisor and/or Repair & Overhaul Manager.
Strict adherence to all aspects of the Company’s policies with regards to HSE.
Input into and cooperate with the Company in maintaining a safe and adequate working environment.
Perform daily & weekly inspections of workshop equipment as per predetermined schedules
Maintain equipment maintenance register in accordance with department requirements
Schedule periodic inspections of designated equipment in accordance with statutory and legislative requirements.
Assist in the collating and recording of all relative certification and works certificates for designated workshop equipment
Assisting Workshop Technicians during repair/ overhaul work as required.
Assist the Stores Person in receipting of spare parts and preparation for despatch as required.
Assist in scheduled stock-takes as required.
Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy workshop environment.
Maintain the yard and car park in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
Driving duties as required.
Operate forklift as required.
General duties as directed by Workshop Supervisor.
Requirements:
The candidate should be semi-skilled, with previous experience in a workshop/warehouse environment.
A full and clean UK driving licence essential.
Must be computer literate with MS Windows and general Office products
i.e. MS Word, MS Excel etc.
An existing forklift driving licence is preferable, however, training can be provided.
