Responsibilities:
To lead a team of Support Engineers in the day to day management and support of allocated customer maintenance or project contracts.
Day to day management of Team on technical, commercial and management issues.
Operation, support and management of team allocated maintenance or project contracts
Organisation and control of onshore installation, commissioning or repair work.
Provision of first point engineering support to Subsea personnel in the field
Allocation of daily and ongoing work to team allocated support engineers to ensure an even distribution of team workload
Encourage the spread of control system knowledge to provide support engineers with a sound working knowledge of all team allocated customers system
Ensure the timely submission of contract monthly reports in accordance with the generic content format
Ensure that regular face to face meetings are held with clients
Supervise the up keep of the central information files
Encourage the full and correct utilisation of other AK Subsea departments such as engineering and manufacturing, using the correct processes
Encourage the development of a proactive culture of service to customers by all team members
Check and approve Timelogs and SIR’s prior to submission to the client. Work toward the achievement of clean invoices to improve cashflow
Co-ordination of technical investigations and reports
Manage SQF’s generated from team allocated control systems. To ensure all SQF’s generated are actioned and coded out in a timely manner
Requirements:
Degree/HNC qualified in a discipline.
Demonstrable experience in the electro/hydraulic controls field equipment and systems.
Demonstrable experience in the supervision of other technical staff preferred.
