Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and oversee the rigging up and running of various specialized tools, mostly Completion Packers and Liner Hangers.
Liaise daily with Operations Coordinator with updates on activities.
Assemble and prepare tools for rig site delivery.
Service, maintain and test equipment upon its return from field locations.
Assist in servicing and inventory management at the field servicing location.
Complete field reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Communicate with customer to understand drilling requirements and activities for down hole tools services.
Oversee the related processes and procedures associated with setting and retrieval of the product in the wellbore.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
Assist in other locations, on short term basis, whenever necessary.
Requirements:
Diploma in relevant field (Mechanics or Petroleum).
At least 5 years oilfield experience.
Computer literate including MS Office and AutoCAD.
Exposure to Wellbore design.
Knowledge of hydraulics processes.
General knowledge of drilling/workover rig operations.
Thorough mechanical and application proficiency with multiple Baker Oil Tools products.
Proficient use of computer based programs related to application of products.
Excellent job preparation, execution and reporting skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities and ability to use initiative.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills as well as performance driven.
