Responsibilities:
To interface with, coordinate with, and take direction from Company Project Senior Management / Construction Management and Client Management.
Construction and constructability input into the design / engineering process, 3D Model and site inspection reviews.
Review of how whole construction process is to be done (all disciplines) and writing any sequencing, reports or guidance notes that shall subsequently form part of the sub-contract requisitions for construction Contractors.
Details being required to be incorporated into sub-contract requisitions to ensure a safe installation process and maximise all cost and schedule saving opportunities.
Input into construction documents / method statements, System definition and subsequent approvals of Contractor procedures.
To ensure that all personnel reporting to the Technical Service Manager are working is a consistent manner across the various projects, with respect to procedures, specifications, deviations, waivers, etc.
Have considerable experience with understanding of all construction discipline techniques.
Write and approve work / construction procedures. Input into construction documents / method statements
Form part of the team for construction sub-contract strategy and documentation package scope of works confirmation.
Sub-contract review works includes Contractor tender qualification, bid reviews, pre-award meetings, with input into the final contract award.
Continued input into commercial issues through progression of any supporting documentation.
Represent company in front of the Client and other External Parties, including Local and National Authorities and Contractors.
Organisation, manpower, time and management reporting.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management.
Demonstrated significant experience in a similar position on large international Petrochemical projects.
Demonstrated experience in all aspects of construction execution, including during FEED, Conceptual and Detail Design, site establishment, construction/turnarounds, final completion/turnover to Client for EPC projects, working within existing operational facilities.
Proven understanding and application of skills in critical areas of site safety, quality management, contract administration, procurement and controls with respect to all aspects of construction.
Considerable experience within understanding construction techniques for piping, civil interfaces, pump installations, and storage tanks.
Appreciation of electrical and instrumentation interfaces within an operational site is required.
Good knowledge of on-site HSE Management.
Possess oral and written English language skills required to function effectively within an international project team, and to communicate with Project Management, Contractors and Subcontractors.
Clearly exhibited ability to develop good working relationships/become a team player.
Ability to work autonomously.
