Overview
 
The person in this position is a Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) resource. Responsibilities include monitoring, maintaining and implementing HSE management programs to ensure compliance in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
 
Job Description
 
The Principal  Consultant - Air will be responsible for:
 
Act as a primary air regulatory compliance resource for EPA's Clean Air Act issues.
Proactively supporting and or leading  Air Environmental  initiatives that support the business units, primarily downstream.
Provide functional guidance and direction to air media professionals in the upstream and downstream businesses.
Lead Air Media Leadership Team
Participating in various committees concerning advocacy in environmental issues.
Responding to customer requests for environmental projects.
Providing management and implementation guidance for Environmental  issues.
Defining training objectives and developing or coordinating environmental training course content, format, and presentation method.
Advising and assisting with reporting requirements for Federal, State, and Corporate entities.
Encouraging and facilitating information sharing and networking between company environmental functions.
Participating in HSE auditing.
Advising on environmental compliance reporting and permitting for Business Unit.
Maintaining selected environmental compliance documents.
Assist with the calculation, collection and analyzing of environmental metrics throughout the year.
Maintaining relations with various state and federal agencies.
Assist with the activities of selected trade organizations.
 
Qualifications
 
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular, full-time basis without restrictions.
Five years of direct experience in  EPA CAA regulations and environmental air issues including Title V requirements, NSPS, NESHAP, LDAR, EPCRA, CERCLA and other Federal and State environmental issues.
