Overview
Ensure that all tools within the District are efficiently maintained.
Job Description
Maintain cased hole well logging equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair surface systems and down hole tools.
Recommend changes in circuitry.
Establish standard test procedures, conduct functional, operational and environmental tests.
Maintain equipment maintenance files and preform reliability analysis.
Safety and Environmental
Performs all duties in a safe manner.
Complies with Company safety policies and procedures. Complies with Customer safety policies and procedures.
Complies with federal, state, and local safety regulations and procedures.
Operates Company vehicle in a safe manner, observing all Company and governmental regulations.
Attains and applies comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Corrects obvious hazards or unsafe conditions and reports those which cannot be immediately corrected to Engineer in Charge or District Manager.
Qualifications
Three years experience in the Wireline Services industry as a technician.
Associates or Bachelors degree in electronic technology or specialized training and experience equivalent to degree.
Cased hole tools: pulsed neutron, cement bond, sector bond, Flexstak.
Computer systems: CS400, PHASe, AT+.
Subject to "on-call" hours 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Outdoor environment subject to temperatur and weather change.
Exposure to explosives, high pressure well bore environments and ionizing radiation.
