Responsibilities:
Generate business and increase revenues through sales of Electric Submersible Pumps and services, requiring knowledge of ESP design and applications and cost effectiveness.
Adhere to Safety procedure and policies in accordance with safety management system.
Active participation and contribution to specific safety initiatives in meetings.
Report all hazardous and unsafe acts.
Actively promote positive safety culture.
Adhere to quality procedure and policies in accordance with the ISO9002 (where applicable) quality assurance system.
Compliance to work instructions.
Raising corrective actions for all non-conformances.
Identifying areas requiring improvement and / or audit.
Calls on management representatives, such as engineers, or other professional and technical personnel in attempt to convince prospective client of desirability and practicability of ESP products or services offered.
Reviews blueprints, plans, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates or projected increases in production from client’s use of proposed equipment or services.
Draws up or proposes changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services which would result in cost reduction or improvement in operations.
Provides technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
Draw up sales or service contract for products or services.
May provide technical training to employees and/or clients.
Lead or direct lower level personnel.
Requiements:
Good knowledge of ESP sales and marketing in oil and gas industry as well as its best practices and broad base knowledge of core business.
Good customer and employee interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English
Perform presentations at regional meetings and to customer basis.
Good knowledge of relevant computer software. (AutoGraph or SubPump mandatory)
Broad knowledge of ESP industry and market.
Minimum of 5 years experience required in technical experience.
Minimum of 10 years experience required in ESP applications and marketing
Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering with 5 years working experience. Will accept persons without formal qualifications who can demonstrate a track record in ESP applications and sales.
Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment.
Able to influence and persuade people.
Great communicator and negotiator.
Willingness to learn new skills.
