Job Description
- Training new employees on company policies, procedures and work practices, including hands-on training (e.g. training of OSHA compliances and working rig, etc.)
- Developing a tracking process and maintaining trainee database to perform follow-up evaluations and testing
- Collaborating with other trainers, auditors, OSHA personnel and customers to develop training materials and teaching methods for new and existing employees
- Scheduling and tracking training classes in the training center
- Maintaining training files and keeping database current and auditable, ensuring proper record keeping and meeting OSHA requirements
- Conducting operator training with current and relief operators to cover materials in the operator training manual
- Ensuring that training rig and facility and the training center are maintained and kept in proper working order
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent; technical or college training is preferred
- Five (5) or more years of directly related work experience, preferably in the oilfield servicing industry
- Previous workover experience running a rig or supervising a rig required
- Knowledge of OSHA compliance and rig operation
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills in the use of Microsoft Applications
