Working with our existing core group of talented Hydrogeologists, this role will involve a strong commitment to technical leadership, business development and client relations, quality management and overall technical excellence.
The project work is varied, and can include hydrogeology related to impoundment facilities, mine water management, water supply, slope stability, contaminant hydrogeology and other environmental issues and engineered applications. The project work is largely centered in Canada (BC, Alberta and Ontario) but from time to time may include project work elsewhere in North America, South America and Australia.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology or Civil Engineering is required, post-graduate degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in physical and/or contaminant hydrogeology
- Involvement in the planning and execution of large field programs, and a background of working on large-scale multi-disciplinary design projects is desirable
- Record of excellent project management on projects of varied scopes, a proven ability to work with and lead small project teams
- Good communicator with clients and team-members of all levels
- Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally
- Eligible for, or registered as, a P.Geo. or P.Eng. in Canada
