Position Summary:
This is an important leadership role responsible for helping develop, mentor and grow our existing core group of talented hydrogeologists. The work will involve a strong commitment to business development and client relations, quality management and overall technical excellence. This is a hands-on management and technical role.
The project work is varied, and can include large projects with scopes in dam hydrogeology, mine water management, water supply, slope depressurization, contaminant hydrogeology and other environmental applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology or Civil Engineering is required, post-graduate degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred
- Minimum 5+ years experience in physical and contaminant hydrogeology and groundwater modeling experience, a history of design and management on large field programs, and a background of working on large-scale multi-disciplinary projects is required
- Specializations in mining related aspects of physical and/or environmental hydrogeology, including groundwater modeling experience are desirable
- Record of excellent project management on projects of varied scopes, a proven ability to work with and lead a team of professionals
- Good communication skills – able to liaise with clients and team-members of all levels
- Excellent English skills (oral and written)
- Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally
- Eligible to register as a professional engineer in the country of residence
