Responsibilities:
Maintenance of Risk Registers for, Tenders, Project, Country and Regional issues
Manage the timely closure of Risk Management actions
Provide regular reports as required on risk status for project and regional reporting
Continuous identification for opportunity to improve risk management processes and procedures to increase efficiency and business performance
Manage the interface between Risk & Reliability and Knowledge Management functions for the development and application of Corporate learning
The results of investigations resulting from technical / equipment failures are reviewed and that any Risk and Reliability issues are resolved and communicated to the knowledge management system
The results of audits carried out on projects, operations and sub-contractors are reviewed and that any Risk and Reliability issues are recognised and managed
Manage the application of specialist discipline engineers, analysts, personnel and sub-contractors in support of Africa Regional projects for the resolution of Risk and Reliability issues
Estimating and resource management, track workloads and report to Risk & Reliability Group Manager and Regional VP
Identifying shortfalls within the region and identifying any need for the recruitment of technical specialists, training of existing personnel, and identifying any need for 3rd party assistance
Ensure workload within discipline is conducted according to schedule and CTR
Resource for regional Risk and Reliability commitments through the Risk and Reliability Group / Human Resources
Application of Performance Management processes for direct reports
Define and manage Risk and Reliability interfaces with other Africa departments and other company functions, Vessel Support Teams and support functions
Approve documentation for project or regional application in support of Risk and Reliability Management processes
Active involvement in tender and project management reviews, reports and progress meetings.
Active involvement in managing Africa region Risk and Reliability issues regarding, subcontractors & 3rd parties
To place a hold or stop on operations which are considered to present an unacceptable risk to the company
Requirements:
Presents self in a professional manner appropriate to the role
Excellent communication skills
Produces work of presentable quality
Facilitation skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Competent on Microsoft Word / Powerpoint with Advanced Excel skills
Good organisational skills and smart working methods
Degree Qualified, preferred higher degree in risk and reliability managemnent. Risk Management exposure within oil and gas project environment
Can articulate learing and training experiences
Work within the O&G industry would be beneficial
Ability to prioritise own workload
Self-starter
Based in London - must be willing to travel
Must be physically fit for required position subject to reasonable adjustments
