Responsibilities:
To undertake production geological responsibilities related to the Corporation's production/development activities in the retained and granted acreage.
To carry out independent studies and to review and assess production geological studies and reports.
To be the focal point for liaising geological matters with various bodies, both inside and outside Qatar, engaged or otherwise involved in development activities.
To monitor, control and supervise the geological activities of foreign oil companies working in Qatar.
Requirements:
Minimum BS Geology and Geophysics, with extensive petroleum geology and hydrocarbon exploration training.
MS Geology is preferred.
Minimum 15 years in Production / Development Geology.
A broad knowledge of geophysics, seismic interpretation and well-site geological experience would be an asset.
Computer literacy in Geological applications is required.
