PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in managing the regulatory issues (EUB and OGC).
- Assist in managing road use agreements and pipeline crossing agreements.
- Work on various projects assigned by Superintendent and/or Foreman.
- Initiate and follow through with the MOC process.
- Oversee vendor rates, schedules and quotes.
- Responsible for the daily collection and recording of operating data and production flow.
- Perform proactive safety activities on a regular basis including site safety inspections and work observations.
- Perform checks and complete tests to ensure all products meet required sales or disposal specifications.
- Maintain and update information in area or facility logbooks ensuring information recorded is pertinent and concise.
- Supervise contract personnel in the completion of assigned tasks.
- Responsible for the day-to-day hands on control of wells, facilities, and all related equipment that maximizes production and minimizes operating costs.
- Operate wells and related equipment as required.
- Provide leadership, training, mentoring, and technical support to operators.
- Various other duties as needed
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILL SET:
- Minimum eight years operating experience.
- Solid mechanical knowledge of related equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot production related problems.
- Ability to recognize and bring forward optimization opportunities.
- Effective communication skills with an emphasis on working well with others.
- Familiarity with PVR production accounting system.
- Must demonstrate awareness and commitment to safety.
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers’ license.
- Work closely with Foreman and relieve during vacation periods
