[Company] . are technical mid level management executive search consultants focussing on machine tool, capital equipment, OEM and plastics processing requirements. Each of our recruiters are specialty trained focussing on one specific area of capital equipment and manufacturing processes. All positions are full time and are competitively priced to award high achieving individuals.
We have positions open with a variety of machine tool companies located in Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg and Edmonton, AB.
Currently, we are looking for the following:
FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN - Toronto
Our client is within the machine tool industry within the local GTA market. Candidates will have 3 - 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing of vertical and horizontal milling machines, 3-4-5 axis lathes and troubleshooting and repairing modern machine tool manufacturing processes. A Millwright designation is an asset but not required for the position. Prior experience working with machine tools from a mechanical standpoint would be needed. The field service engineer would also be liasing with customers and have a good understanding of electrical capabilities. A knowledge of wiring and PLC would round off he perfect candidate. The territory is local within Toronto with overnight travel to various suburban areas within the Toronto marketplace. Travel to Northern Ontario will consist 10% of the time as most of the customers lie within the Golden Horseshoe range.
TERRITORY MANAGER / SALES ENGINEER - Toronto
Our client is within the machine tool industry servicing customers across Canada and globally. You will be responsible for new business development, creating new opportunities, maintaining existing accounts and opening up new opportunities within the aerospace, automotive and tool and die industry. Candidates will have 5 years of sales experience within the machine tool industry and/or have lived within the capital equipment / OEM environment. A strong understanding of machine tools is needed and/or capital equipment is needed with the potential of calling upon 'warm' contacts already established within the aerospace, automotive, tool and die, machining customers.
TERRITORY MANAGER / SALES - Western Canada
Our client is within the machine tool industry servicing Western Canada stationed in Edmonton Alberta. Candidate will be calling upon mining, oil field and oil and gas to promote our client's products and services.
Candidate will have 5 or more years of experience of direct sales experience with CNC machine tools. Candidates can work as a machine operator and/or CNC programmer for the first 5 years with 2 years of experience in industrial sales. Candidate will have knowledge of CNC machines, their working and their operations but also contain a sales / savvy personality.
They are ideally looking for a salesman that can 'open doors' and create new business opportunities. An applications Engineer that has grown up to become a salesman will lack the assertive salesmanship that is critically required for this position.
APPLICATIONS ENGINEER - Toronto
Our client is within the machine tool industry servicing customers within the local Toronto market. Knowledge within the machine tool industry with a focus on providing feasibility studies, time studies and product demonstrations to support / assist sales engineers would be the bulk of responsibility for this position. Candidates will posses 4 - 6 years of knowledge of 5 axis CNC machining within vertical / horizontal lathes and milling machines. Travel will consist up to 50% of the time supporting customers and providing product demonstrations at trade shows and other trade events within the industry.
FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER - Lasers and Punch Press - Montreal, Winnipeg
Continued growth provides an opportunity for a field service engineer with our client, the llargest manufacturer of Fabricating Machinery in the United States.
Specific Responsibilities include:
· Setting up industrial laser equipment at customer sites.
· Doing maintenance work on machines.
· Trouble shooting problems with machines at customer sites.
· Travel to customer sites everyday by car or plane.
The qualified candidate will have:
· A mminimum of 2 years experience as a field service engineer, maintenance technician, or programmer in a CNC work environment using industrial cutting lasers, punch press, or
· CNC chip making equipment such as machining centers and lathes.
· Experience of two years or more can include working in a job shop or on the shop floor of a manufacturing facility.
· Must have ability to travel 100% as each day working at a customer site, which will also include overnight stays occasionally.
