Job Description
- Implement company EHS programs on offshore construction vessels (Diving & ROV).
- Liaison with EHS Management concerning all EHS issues.
- Coordinate and participate in safety meetings.
- Issue all Controlled Work Permits (including Variance Procedures –management of change).
- Assist in JSA worksheet process with supervisors.
- Monitor work activities with emphasis towards Environment, Health, and Safety concerns.
- Actively observe and aggressively remediate unsafe acts, conditions, and procedures.
- Assist supervisors with Incident Reporting.
- Assist EMT-Paramedics with Incident Reporting.
- Tracking and recordkeeping of all EHS Reporting Forms and distribution to EHS Management in a timely manner.
- Liaison with Veolia Superintendent and Client Representative concerning all EHS related issues.
- Inventory control and tracking of EHS related equipment (harnesses, rigging, etc.)
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in Safety Industry
- Role in Safety most recent job position
- USCG, MMS, OSHA, knowledge...minimum...
- Offshore experince, all types of vessels.....
- NORM handling/management experience- knowledge....
- Incident/Accident investigation knowledge
- BBSM management knowledge
- ISO 14001 management-knowledge....
- Some Safety Specific college- technical coursework completed
