Reporting to the Manager, Software Development we are currently looking to add a talented, hard working New Grad, Junior or Intermediate Software Developer to take on the programming and development for our iLand product line.
Responsibilities include:
· Providing software development and support in aid of Divestco's product lines.
· Working with senior development staff and product manager to develop specifications based on provided, prioritized requirements
· Provide coding expertise to implement specifications
· Participating in release planning and delivery activities
· Working with development staff to plan and execute on development tasks in an Agile environment
· As required (3rd line support) working with end users to trouble shoot and rectify issues should they arise.
· Providing development and support services for i Land Product suite
· Providing on site assistance with clients (including development, installation, and trouble shooting activities)
· Completing ad hoc requests as required
· Achieving productivity and other performance related goals
· Complying with all Company and departmental policies and procedures
· Building and maintaining effective working relationships with others
· Demonstrating behavior that reflects professionalism and represents Divestco’s best interests
· Performing other such duties as required and defined by Divestco
Requirements:
· Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or similar
· Minimum 1 year Software Development experience (work term, co-op and internships all applicable)
· Land Administration experience is an asset but nor required
· Solid experience working with object-oriented methodologies
· Experience with C#
· Knowledge of VBA
· Experienced database development skills (Access, SQL server and Oracle)
