Overview
The Roustabout performs general well location maintenance and is in training to become a Well Operator. While in training, the Roustabout, under supervision of an experienced Well Operator, learns the responsibilities of a Well Operator. A Well Operator, based on demonstrated ability, can independently perform these responsibilities.
Job Description
- Repairs and lubricates equipment.
- Gauges tanks.
- Diagnoses well problems on-site.
- Blows wellhead drips.
- Soaps, blows and treat wells.
- Performs annual well inspections.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
