Job Description
Responsibilities And Duties:
· Performing all facets of production accounting on assigned gas properties in Alberta and Saskatchewan, including the preparation of plant allocations, gas splits and liquid revenue payments.
· Ensuring customer queries on all aspects of assigned gas properties are responded to in a timely manner
· Recording and billing fees, including processing, well contract operating, administration and others dictated by agreements
· Developing financial and contractual understanding of properties
· Performing ad hoc analytics on property performance
· Accurate and timely submission of volumetric information to the Registry.
· Reviewing assigned properties to ensure all accounts have been recorded correctly
· Managing volumetric reporting to regulatory authorities
Requirements For The Position:
· CAPPA Certification
· Two to Three years of production accounting experience including gas plant accounting
· Solid technical understanding of operations and gas plant accounting,
· financial systems and processes and the Petroleum Registry
· Knowledge of Qbyte Enerstream
· Ability to work under strict deadlines
· Financial accounting experience essential
· Work and adapt in a dynamic work environment
· Ability to be a team player
· Accounting Degree or Diploma would be an asset
