Job Description
[Company] team of engineers and technologists service the oil & gas, pipeline, industrial and bulk material handling industries. We are known for our excellence in control system design and commissioning, with proven experience in legacy and new automation technologies and communication systems. We are proud to be celebrating 25 years in industry.
Given our consistent growth, our Engineering Projects Division is currently looking for skilled, motivated and enthusiastic employees and contractors to fill the positions of Senior and Intermediate Electrical Design Draftsmen within our Calgary office.
Responsibilities
· Responsibilities include generating electrical and control drawings using piping and instrumentation source documentation. Included are:
· The development of cabling and conduit schedules
· Instrumentation take-of lists
· Generating area classification, single and three line drawings
· Junction box layout drawings
· Control and contact panel design and layout drawings
· PLC input - output schematics
· Electrical layout drawings
Skills and Qualifications
· Extensive AutoCAD experience
· Electrical or Engineering Design & Drafting Technology graduate
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Knowledge of and experience in using the CEC
· Understanding of hazardous area classifications
