Job Description
[Company] team of engineers and technologists service the oil & gas, pipeline, industrial and bulk material handling industries. We are known for our excellence in control system design and commissioning, with proven experience in legacy and new automation technologies and communication systems. We are proud to be celebrating 25 years in industry.
Given our consistent growth, our Engineering Services division is currently looking for an engineer or technologist who can apply their control and automation application oilfield experience to assist in the development of Terminal Boss software.
Reporting to the Team Lead of our Terminal Boss product group the Software Developer/Engineer/Technologist will require experience with or knowledge of the following:
· PLC and RTU programming
· HMI configuration
· Continue integration practices
· Design Patterns
· Refactoring
· Unit Testing
· Test Driven Development
· Application development on SQL Server and/or Oracle
Skills and Qualifications:
· Strong programming experience in .NET framework I
· Programming experience in.NET languages C# and VB
· Basic SQL and database design concepts
· Comfortable communicating within a team setting and with outside clients
