Job Description
Performs log data entry and technical duties associated with data receipt and transmittal of Open Hole, Cased Hole and LWD logging services. Works on a rotating shift schedule and overtime as required.
- Performs PC/CS400®/WellManager data entry (OH, CH & LWD data).
- Reformats data as required.
- Receives satellite transmitted data on CS400® and related equipment.
- Performs print and data distribution duties.
- Provides effective interaction with both clients and company personnel.
- Performs data archiving (Data Base via MS Access).
- Must successfully complete an in-house training period (~4-week) provided by staff.
- Computer skills using Windows (95 thru XP), (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Explorer). Skilled in Linux-an asset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Customer relation skills.
- Able to work with limited supervision.
- High school education minimum, some college preferred.
- Mechanically oriented.
- Must be available for all shifts on a 24 rotating shift basis.
