Job Description
This position requires at minimum a senior field engineer with both open hole and cased hole experience. An intimate knowledge of all downhole tools and operating equipment is essential. Familiarity with field operations is a must, preferably both domestic and international.
- Responsible for logistics associated with movement of all equipment
- Responsible for export documentation to all Global locations
- Oversee the development of procedures to ensure export compliance for wireline
- Interface between each operational location and the warehouse and manage the order desk
- Work with Global Asset Manager as an interface between manufacturing and field locations for delivery of tools and equipment
- Work with Global Asset Manager in putting orders into the manufacturing system and doing procurement from third party sources
- Establish pricing for all products based on manufacturing or purchase costs
- Negotiation of third party discounting and support levels for Global locations
- Coordinate third party shipments to Global locations
- Maintain predefined warehousing levels to support operations on a Global basis in a timely and cost effective manner
- Maintain safety stock levels of critical components for operational support
- Define items that can be purchased centrally and distributed through the warehouse, thus gaining pricing advantages from bulk purchases
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Weatherford Wireline Services
- Minimum 5 years oil field experience
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills
- Strong leadership and quality skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Multi-tasking ability
- Should be able to work closely with fellow employees
