Job Description
- Request and negotiate industry standard terms and conditions for wholesale energy trading contracts, with an emphasis on natural gas
- Coordinate and communicate with traders, credit department, and other corporate stakeholders to facilitate and finalize trading contracts.
- Adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley procedures set forth for the Contracts Administration function.
- Handle necessary amendments and/or updates to existing contracts.
- Prepare and/or assist with linking of documents into archival file system, FileNet.
- Mentor and develop other Contract Administrators.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- 4-7 years experience in an energy marketing environment, with a minimum of 4 years experience negotiating standard terms in natural gas contracts, including NAESB and amendments.
- Some college coursework in a four year degree program required.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel; working knowledge of PowerPoint and Access.
- Self-starter, willingness to learn and ability to work independently.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and to coordinate well with numerous company stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
