Job Description
Support and development of sourcing efforts and bidding processes for Oxy Permian’s drilling and associated services. Compile and analyze various drilling prices, costs, and performance metrics for OP, competitors, and other providers. Primary customers include the Operations Support Manager and the DHS Team.
Qualifications
- Proven analytical skills (3-5 years performing analyses from business, finance or engineering background with the ability to investigate, develop and implement action plans.
- Strong operational knowledge or proven ability to assimilate and understand operational aspects quickly.
- Able to perform complex analyses with an understanding of key financial and production targets
- Strong, informal leadership skills demonstrated in customer/peer interactions with the ability to influence others
- Proficient in the use of negotiations skills to establish complex and innovative commercial relationships
- Strong written and verbal communications skills coupled with strong presentation skills
- Experienced and proficient in the use of PC Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Proficient in data extraction and manipulation, demonstrated ability to produce accurate data/work and clearly and concisely organize and communicate financial data and other metrics
- Positive attitude with effective interaction internally and externally coupled with a strong work ethic/self-initiative
- Team and Interpersonal Skills—communication, listening, facilitation, conflict management, personal interactions

- 3-5 years of industry experience (preferably in finance, economics or engineering)
- Experience developing and initiating contracts
