Job Description
[Company] invites applications from candidates who thrive in a dynamic business environment for the interesting and challenging position of Project Manager. IDC is the business arm of the Inuvialuit Regional Corporation and manages interests in fourteen companies operating in sectors ranging from transportation, grocery retail/wholesale, oil & gas services to commercial properties and consulting.
The Project Manager position is a unique opportunity to manage projects that support implementation of IDC’s overall business strategy at its head office in Inuvik, Northwest Territories. Typical projects include business research and presentations, corporate newsletters, various marketing initiatives as well as office support. The position reports to the IDC President.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of five years experience in an office environment, excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills, proven project management skills, research skills, computer skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
A Bachelor of Business Administration or a Bachelor of Commerce is preferred. Previous experience working in a Northern environment would be considered an asset.
IDC offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary range from $62,000 to $90,000 per year commensurate with qualifications and experience in addition to generous northern benefits.
