Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years Canadian experience in design of heavy concrete and pile foundations.
Experience with concrete designs including foundations for buildings, equipment, generators, fans, compressors, pumps, exchangers, petrochemical and transmission towers.
Knowledge in water retaining structures such as tanks, water reservoirs and swimming pools.
Extensive acquaintance with structural steel designs including buildings, pipe racks, pipe bridges, platforms, walkways, equipment supports and transmission towers. Also be able to undertake dynamic foundation and steel analysis, blast designs, earthquake designs and vibration analysis.
· B.Sc. in civil/structural engineering.
· Member in good standing with APEGGA, registered as a P.Eng
· At least five years experience with Structural Engineering
· Proficiency with AutoCAD.
