Our client is one of the world's largest and most diverse providers of professional technical services. They offer full-spectrum support to industrial, commercial, and government clients across multiple markets. Services include scientific and specialty consulting as well as all aspects of engineering and construction, and operations & maintenance.
Responsibilities:
· The coordination and administration of contracts to ensure cost and schedule compliance.
· Working with the contracts manager and other project staff to develop and implement the contract strategy for construction and service contracts.
· Pre-qualification of tenders, award and administration of construction and service contracts including management of contract change orders for in- or out-of-scope items.
· Develop and maintain construction progress activities utilizing the clients proprietary management system.
· Assist with input to monthly project report for construction progress and status of contracts.
· Contracts claim management an asset.
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of all phases of contract development, award, administration and close-out relating to a multi-discipline construction projects.
· 10 years of relevant experience.
· Strong negotiating skills dealing with contractors on extras and developing/maintaining contract change orders.
· Strong computer skills with emphasis within MS Office applications, including database manipulation, an asset.
