Description:
Our West Sussex based client is a multi-specialist energy services company operating in the thermal power, nuclear, petrochemical, oil and gas and pharmaceutical industries. They are also a leading international steam generation OEM and supplier of the cleanest, most efficient coal powered technology in the world, they provide innovative technology that supports and enhances the service life of assets across the globe. They are looking for a Project Engineering Manager to deliver the engineering execution of global projects to the required quality, time and cost, including cost effective, profit enhancing design.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidates key duties will include day to day management of the engineering, design and specification for procurement of all equipment of all equipment in connection with specific project, creation and regular review of engineering execution plan and programme including engineering team deliverables and cost allowances, to establish clear communication lines within the project team to ensure that they are fully informed in all aspects of the project, the negotiation and agreement of contract deviations and clarifications, and to develop and maintain the technical risk assessment document ensuring identification of probability of occurrence and agreed mitigation measures.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified within a relevant engineering or chemical discipline or equivalent along with proven experience of leading multi-discipline global design engineering teams within the process/power engineering sector, ideally with fired boilers as part of the scope which should ideally include experience of managing design teams who have OEM design responsibility for part of the project delivery.
