Description:
Our West Sussex based client is a multi-specialist energy services company operating in the thermal power, nuclear, petrochemical, oil and gas and pharmaceutical industries. They are also a leading international steam generation OEM and supplier of the cleanest, most efficient coal powered technology in the world, they provide innovative technology that supports and enhances the service life of assets across the globe. They are looking for a Project Quality Engineer to provide efficient and cost effective value added support to the Quality Manager and in-house user groups within UK operations.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and cost effective quality support, providing value added input to quality system improvement processes, effective resolution to routine quality problems and satisfactory completion and maintenance of professional development record.
The ideal candidate will have a HNC/HND in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent, be a member of the Institute of Quality Assurance (AMIQA), have proven experience in Quality Function and in Mechanical and Process Industry sectors.
Knowledge of and understanding of ISO series, BS , ASME 1 an advantage. Offering a competitive salary dependant on skills and experience along with excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
Key duties will include actively promoting Quality System awareness, Quality input proposals, preparation of Quality plans, carrying out internal and external audits, monitoring and reprting of Supplier and Subcontractor Quality performance and the reveiw and maintenance of adequate Quality records.
