Responsibilities:
• Conduct of auditing services related to environmental, health and safety performance and compliance audits, health and safety program development, and environmental management system implementation
• Contribution to project development activities including proposal preparation and presentations
• Provision of technical direction and instruction to support staff
• Assistance in the development of client relationships and business growth in Alberta and western Canada
Qualifications:
• A degree in environmental sciences or engineering
• Four years’ related work experience
• A certified environmental auditor designation would be considered an asset
Experience:
• Experience in environmental, health and safety audits, performance evaluations, and compliance audits, including experience as a lead auditor
• Experience in compliance audits of industrial operations, including oil and gas operations, and knowledge of the Alberta market and industrial base would be as asset
• Knowledge of Alberta and federal environmental, health and safety regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated abilities in project teamwork and client relationships
• Strong record-keeping, report writing, communication and interpersonal skills
