Responsibilities:
• Management of environmental projects involving site assessment and remediation, risk assessment and management, and regulatory compliance monitoring
• Provision of technical and professional leadership to staff including project engineers, scientists and technologists
• Development of client relationships and business growth in Quebec and eastern Canada
Qualifications:
• A degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, hydrogeology or environmental science, preferably at the Master’s level
• Licensed to practice as a professional engineer or geoscientist in Quebec, or eligible to be licensed within six months
• Ten years' experience in environmental consulting
• Fully bilingual in French and English
Experience:
• Demonstrated success in environmental project management and business development
• Experienced in the following:
- phased site investigations
- human health and/or ecological risk assessment
- remedial action plan development
- design and implementation of compliance monitoring plans
• Expertise in groundwater resource evaluation and protection would be an asset
• Familiarity with relevant environmental legislation, codes and standards
