Responsibilities:
• Conduct of project tasks related to groundwater resource evaluation and management, site assessment and remediation, risk assessment and compliance monitoring
• Coordination and direction of project team activities, and assistance to project managers
• Liaison with private and public sector clients, government review and approval agencies, subconsultants and subcontractors
• Contribution to development of client relationships and new business opportunities
Qualifications:
• A degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, hydrogeology or environmental science, preferably at the Master’s level
• Licensed to practice as a professional engineer or geoscientist, or eligible to be licensed within six months
• Four to eight years' experience in environmental consulting
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel
Experience:
• Proficient in the conduct of several of the following:
- groundwater resource evaluation, protection and management
- phased site assessments
- human health and/or ecological risk assessment
- remedial action plan development
- design and implementation of compliance monitoring plans
• Familiarity with relevant environmental legislation, codes and standards
• Proficient in report writing, communications, organization and interpersonal skills
