Job Description
- This position is responsible and accountable for the support of assigned technical applications, workflows, portlets, and data integration.
- Support includes the diagnosis and resolution of application and related data issues including documenting, communicating, and tracking all support requests and resolutions.
- Assist the Pioneer clients in selecting the appropriate tool to fit the requirements and train clients as needed.
- Work closely with application and data vendors and network with other oil companies to get needed enhancements and fixes to the applications.
- Work closely with Data Managers, other Application Analysts and System Support Engineers to provide a seamless support to the clients.
Qualifications
- A High School diploma or equivalent certification is required; a Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years combined experience is required in developing solutions in client server, Web Services architectures.
- Demonstrated ability in data mapping, data loaders required.
- Data modeling experience preferred.
- Experience may be substituted with college degree related to specific discipline.
- A working knowledge of the Oil & Gas business is also preferred.
- The candidate should have knowledge of workflows and data, base level knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Linux OS, the ability to work in a team environment, and good consulting skills to know the right questions to ask to understand what the client needs and translate that into a solution for the client that meets or exceeds the need.
