Job Description
- Assist with development, building and maintaining new and existing models for monitoring operating costs, capital spending and production.
- Assist in building and/or maintaining trend analysis comparing actual results with budget/forecasted data. Participate in building and updating presentation material for Management, Partners and peer presentations.
- Assist asset teams with projects and analysis on an as needed basis.
- Aggregate, analyze and report operational trends and variance reporting to asset team members and management.
- Participate in operational evaluations for capital and operating cost savings and create presentation to communicate findings to management.
- Monitor electronic systems used to assist in operational activity and report findings to management. Participate in special operational projects that will be defined as they arise.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific, finance or accounting field is required with a minimum of 4 years related experience.
- Experience in Oil & Gas accounting, finance and or operations a plus.
- Candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Essbase and economics programs (ARIES & PEEP) preferred. Candidate must be a self-starter, motivated and results oriented.
- Because this role involves a diverse list of tasks with differing deadlines and multiple team interaction, this person must have great technical competencies, and communication, time management and creativity skills.
