Job Description
- Build and maintain software library of the Weatherford Borehole Seismic Data Processing Group by researching and assessing the available commercial or academic software developments, especially in the fields of 4D VSP and Micro-seismic Monitoring.
- Augment and improve products and services offered by Weatherford Borehole Seismic Services by acquiring and implementing innovative and promising new technologies.
- Publish and present technical journal articles and oral presentations at industry forums in the areas of VSP surveys and Micro-seismic monitoring.
- Supervise all modeling and data processing operations for the Company’s VSP client projects.
- Coordinate and implement overall global strategic plan for borehole seismic data processing operations.
- Review operations and financial performance of borehole seismic data processing operations.
- Plan, develop and implement training program for borehole seismic data processing personnel.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Geophysics or related field and five years’ experience in job or coordinating borehole seismic operations and/or initiating new business through technical leadership.
