Overview
Total responsibility for day-to-day operation of the Gulf of Mexico region of Weatherford operations.
Job Description
- Manage a staff of operations managers to ensure maximum effort within the standards of budget, policies, procedures, and quality to satisfy the requirements of Weatherford.
- Develop and implement programs and procedures to increase production.
- Develop strategies to process and control workflow within area of responsibility.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures that promote health and welfare of all personnel.
- Train and develop managers to provide management depth.
- Handle complaints and grievances.
- Ensure efficient space utilization within the facilities in area of responsibility.
- With assistance from HR: recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
- Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience or more in a management position
- Excellent supervisory and organizational skills
- Ability to delegate work effectively
- Ability to work with diversity in a high-speed production environment
- Good interpersonal skills and flexibility
