Job Description
The duties of this role include assisting our operating districts with in-field repair and maintenance of our manufactured drilling tools. The successful candidate must have mechanical repair experience with understanding of electronics.
Qualifications
Position Specific Responsibilities include:
- Perform repairs to LWD, MFR, Rotary Steerable drilling equipment, including disassembly, testing and re-assembly
- Interpret Bill of Materials and mechanical drawings
- Perform calibrations, and complete appropriate documentation
- Travel, set-up temporary laboratory operations for global districts.
- Train district drilling personnel in proper use and field repair of tools.
- Maintain communications among Research & Development, Operations, Repair and Maintenance Manager, Lead Technician, and Manufacturing Departments.
- Coordinate QC/QA audits.
- Perform all work according to company policies and HS&E guidelines.
