Responsibilities:

Prepare feasibility studies on new technology developments & existing completion technology integration to identify growth areas for Expandable Completion products / systems, in alignment with product strategy requirements.
Investigate the viability of broader oilfield applications for Expandable Completion products / systems, in alignment with product strategy requirements.
Liase with third party equipment providers, internal & external, to ensure compatibility & successful application with Expandable Completion products / systems.
Provide guidance to the Product Development / Engineering effort to ensure new Expandable Completion products are aligned with business & client requirements.
Assist with the commercialization of new products developed in alignment with Expandable Completions product strategy.
Assist with the development of Expandable Completions technical / marketing material for distribution on information systems
Provide technical guidance for the regional applications / operations groups, including recommendations on equipment selection, system configuration, engineering specifications & equipment operation, where required.

Requirements:

Possess a higher level qualification in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline.
Possess a degree level qualification in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline.
Experience/Competence/Skills
Must possess a good understanding of completions applications / operations.
Must have proven technical problem-solving ability.
General understanding of global oil industry & awareness of the key operators/technology users.
Interest in or an understanding of web-based information management systems.
Must be self motivated & able to work effectively, both autonomously & in a team environment.
Must have good communication/interpersonal skills, both verbal & written.
Must have good organisational skills with an ability to work to tight & challenging deadlines.
Must have good decision making skills.
An enthusiasm for challenging established practices.
Good computer literacy & working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
