Responsibilities:
Working directly with well operations manager & field Superintendent to insure coordination between HSE and Operations.
Provides Health and Safety program assurances for field operation activities.
Coordinate with the field Engineer and Well Site Supervisors in applying the safety management system in support of Safety Management program.
Educate the Fields personal in implementing health and safety programs that are clear and concise to achieve compliance with all applicable regulations, company programmers and policies creating the desired goals of :
No accidents
No harm to people
No damage to environment
Supervise a team approach to maintaining compliance while improving HSE efforts on site.
Communicate and coordinate the tracking remedial action developed to correct reported incidents to facilitate adequate and timely closure of action.
Specific areas of focus will be the higher risk aspect of the site activities, e.g., cranes and rigging operations , dropped objects prevention program, and fall protection program.
HSE auditing of rig contractor and third party contractors.
Participate in incident investigations with contractor and operator's appointed teams to identify root cause factors and recommend preventive measures to prevent future events.
Monitor HSE performance and making recommendations for improvement when warranted.
Conduct facility surveys, work inprogree reviews to ensure continues improvement in the health and safety programs.
Enhance effectiveness of risk management processes by participating in job planning meeting and auditing.
Will be responsible for insuring and up to date the HSE training plan including an increased emphasis on cross training in environmental topics.
Work with logistics and vendors as required for quality assurance and HSE compliance.
Assist field environmental coordinators as required by acting as an initial point of contact and assisting site personnel with environmental related topics.
Requirements:
Work collaboratively with field personnel and provide leadership.
Communicate pertinent best practices, lessons learned , safety and environmental alerts.
have experience in risk assessment techniques including all around knowledge of all aspects of safety and environmental engineering including: safety, reliability, availably and HSE management systems.
Able to concentrate and complete multi task at the same time.
Must have personal management skills.
Must lead a team of employees to finish multi oriental tasks for the company before the specified time frame.
Working knowledge of organizations Quality Management Systems in productive environment.
working knowledge of relevant measuring equipment.
Good verbal communication skills.
Should be computer literate with the Microsoft Office Package.
Individuals must be self starters, problem solvers and essentially a team player.
