Modify, rebuild, and repair MUD motors by applying MUD principles in determining equipment malfunctions
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Tear down and repair positive displacement motors and miscellaneous directional equipment.
- Load and unload drilling equipment and trucks.
- Maintain motor service reports.
- Maintain and clean shop facility.
- Clean and lubricate parts
Qualifications:
Essential
- 1-2 years experience working with motors
- General precision measuring skills
Preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of oilfield equipment and tools
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Essential
- The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
- Lifting 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and / or carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or more
