Help this Company be a leader in the industry by acting as their Office Administrator!
Main duties will include the following:
- Welcoming and assisting all visitors to the office
- Answering and re-directing all incoming phone calls
- Maintaining a balance between customer service and protecting employees time
- Helping clients with directions to the office (as well as parking options)
- Reviewing and proofreading documents and making suggestions on possible improvement
- Acting as liaison for suppliers and services and Administrative Manager (this would include office supplies, phone system, IT contractor, coffee services, etc)
- Performing administrative duties in support of all employees as required (40+)
- Helping to maintain/update Company database on a weekly basis
- Taking responsibility for outgoing mail and distributing incoming mail
- Promoting effective communication and positive relationships
- Other administrative duties as required

- A polished image that projects professionalism and that inspires confidence and trust
- Superb phone skills. You must be efficient handling a high number of calls, answering and directing inquiries as needed
- Proven ability to write powerfully and persuasively using various styles and effectively address different needs and audiences
- An excellent track record of adhering to scheduling and attendance requirements
- The proven ability to thrive in an environment of rapid change and easily handle shifting priorities
- Speed and accuracy in keying data into the computer
- Excellent organizational skills. You will need to keep files and work area organized
- The ability to provide clear, concise information regarding company policies and procedures to new and current employees
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent experience, Diploma in Office Administration preferred.
This position reports to the Administrative Manager. Office hours are 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. Our client offers a starting salary between $33,000-$40,000 and includes a benefits package after 3 months of employment. Located just west of downtown, our client does not provide parking, however there is easy access to transit (both bus and LRT) and free parking within walking distance.
