An opportunity of a lifetime! Our client is looking for a Specialist to lead in the development of its Quality Assurance / Quality Control Division within its organization. As the QA/QC Manager, the ideal applicant will have a proven track record and a desire to not only succeed in the industry, but to lead it!
The job description for this position includes the following:
- Developing, implementing and managing the tracking and monitoring systems, manuals and documentation control.
- Assisting with the development of policies, procedures, systems and guidelines.
- Reviewing safety incidents, identifying trends and responding accordingly.
- Auditing all processes and procedures to verify and ensure compliance.
- Assisting with the interviewing and hiring of all disciplines of Quality Inspectors.
- Provide mentoring and hands on practical skills to new inspectors.
The individual we are seeking will have the following qualifications:
- A post secondary degree in Management or Administration is required.
- Must currently possess or meet the prerequisites to obtain ABSA approval for pressure piping and vessels.
- Ten years of experience in progressively responsible experience related to Quality Assurance / Quality Control.
- Excellent organizational skills with above average communication skills.
